Mayoros and her juvenile passenger were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.

ORLANDO, Fla. – A woman was shot early Monday at an Orlando apartment complex, according to police. The shooting was reported just before 3 a.m. on South Street near Lime Avenue. Orlando police said when officers arrived at the scene, they found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound. She was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries, according to police. It’s not know what prompted the shooting, and police said they have no leads in the case.

ORLANDO, Fla. – One person was killed Friday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash near Camping World Stadium in Orlando, according to police. Orlando police responded to the crash at 4:29 p.m. near the intersection of Rio Grande Avenue and South Street. One of the vehicles over turned, ejecting the driver, police said. The person was pronounced dead at the crash scene. The intersection remains closed as of 5:30 p.m. for the crash investigation.

DAYTONA BEACH – A 50-year-old man died after a vehicle fleeing from an attempted traffic stop collided into his vehicle at a high speed, according to the Daytona Beach Police Department. Daniel J. Ruddell Jr. died at the scene of the accident that occurred at the intersection of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and South Street, police said. Bennett’s vehicle then struck three cars that didn’t have any people in it before coming to a stop, police said. Bennett was transported to Halifax Health Medical Center and is in critical condition with life-threatening injuries, police said. TITUSVILLE, Fla. – A husband and wife visiting from New Jersey were involved in a fatal traffic crash, the Titusville Police Department said. The crash happened near the intersection of Bobbi Lane and South Street around 8 a.m. Wednesday. “The preliminary investigation revealed that a tan 2004 Ford F250, driven by Raymond Roberson, 35, of Titusville, was traveling northbound on South Street,” authorities said. Roberson’s truck swerved into the oncoming southbound lane and struck the couple’s white 2019 Nissan Rogue head-on. The couple was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries, officers said.

ORLANDO, Fla. – Construction crews shifted a busy Orlando Interstate 4 exit ramp into its final configuration for the I-4 Ultimate Project, according to the Florida Department of Transportation. The I-4 eastbound exit to South Street (Exit 82B), and eastbound entrance ramps from Kaley Avenue and Michigan Street have changed. Changes include:The eastbound I-4 exit ramp to South Street, currently combined with the eastbound I-4 exit to State Road 408, is shifting into its final alignment as soon as Saturday morning. The eastbound I-4 entrance ramp from Michigan Street will close as soon as Friday. Drivers wanting to access eastbound I-4 will need to use the new temporary entrance ramp to eastbound I-4 from Kaley Avenue scheduled to open Saturday morning.
