Federal prosecutors have added another member of the Oath Keepers militia group to an indictment alleging conspiracy in the Capitol Riot. So far, at least 13 individuals associated with the Oath Keepers have been charged with federal crimes stemming from the attack on the U.S. Capitol. Of those indicted, at least five are former military members and one is a former law enforcement officer. The group includes people linked to the Oath Keepers militia group who have been indicted on charges that they planned and coordinated with one another in the attack. Investigators said Kenneth Harrelson is a member of the Oath Keepers and attended dozens of planning calls with other members before they stormed the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6. The Oath Keepers were among several militia and extremist groups, such as the Proud Boys, that took part in the Jan. 6 Capitol riot. The SPLC also said Rhodes worked on Ron Paul’s 2008 presidential campaign prior to starting the Oath Keepers. The Oath Keepers claim tens of thousands of members on its rolls but, according to the ADL, that is unlikely, but they may have a couple of thousand members.

Florida member of the Oath Keepers charged with conspiracy in connection to Capitol riot
Prosecutors said Kenneth Harrelson was photographed in the Capitol Rotunda with members of Oath Keepers behind him, one placing an arm on his shoulder. Among the nine Oath Keepers who were previously indicted, at least five had previously served in the military or worked in law enforcement. This photo, included in court documents, shows Kenneth Harrelson, under the green arrow, interacting with three other individuals affiliated with the Oath Keepers, prosecutors say. James, another recently charged Oath Keeper from Alabama, also interacted with Meggs, exchanging a call with him as recently as February.
