ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando City has made another move and signed 27-year-old Wilder Cartagena on loan from Al-Ittihad Kalba SC of the United Arab Emirates’ UAE Pro League. Cartagena began posting farewell messages and thanking supporters on his social media platforms on Monday and today, Orlando City made it official. Daryl Dike scores again, Orlando City beats Impact 1-0
HARRISON, N.J. – Daryl Dike scored for the third consecutive game and Orlando City beat the Montreal Impact 1-0 on Sunday night at Red Bull Arena. The 6-foot-2, 220-pound Dike ran on to a perfectly played through ball from Mauricio Pereyra and rolled in a one-touch shot from the center of the area in the 39th minute. Orlando City (10-3-8) has won back-to-back games after a loss to Inter Miami on Oct. 24 that snapped a 12-game unbeaten streak. Pedro Gallese had five saves, including a diving stop in the 92nd minute, for Orlando City. Montreal (7-13-2) has lost three in a row and five of six.
Leandro Gonzalez Pirez scores in 89th, Miami beats OC 2-1
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Leandro Gonzalez Pirez scored on a header in the 89th minute to lift Inter Miami past Orlando City 2-1 on Saturday. Inter Miami CF (6-11-3) rebounded from a 2-1 loss against Montreal last Saturday that broke a three-match unbeaten streak. Orlando City (8-3-8) lost a 12-match unbeaten streak that started after a 3-2 loss to Miami on Aug. 22. In the 12th minute, Orlando City's Antonio Carlos kicked a deep ball past midfield to Rookie of the Year candidate Daryl Dike. Blaise Matuidi attempted a cross past Jansson, but Jansson flicked the ball toward goalkeeper Pedro Gallese.

ORLANDO, Fla. – Chris Mueller scored an early goal, Brian Rowe had seven saves, and Orlando City played New York City FC to a 1-1 tie on Wednesday night, extending its unbeaten streak to 11 games. Rowe, making his second start of the season in place of Pedro Gallese (international duty), has 10 saves and one goal allowed this season. The 31-year-old Rowe started every game last season and finished with seven shutouts. Keaton Parks put away his own rebound, after Rowe made a sliding stop at the top of the six-yard box. He scored into an empty net for New York City (8-7-3).

ATLANTA – Brad Guzan made a diving stop in the 86th minute among his six saves, and Atlanta United settled for a scoreless draw with Orlando City on Wednesday night. It was Guzan's fifth shutout of the season and his third in the last five games for Atlanta (5-8-3). Orlando City (8-2-6) is unbeaten in its last 10 games. Goalkeeper Brian Rowe made his first start of the season and had three saves for Orlando City. Rowe started all 32 games and had seven shutouts for Orlando City in 2019.
Gallese, Orlando City survive a man down, tie FC Dallas 0-0
FRISCO, Texas – Pedro Gallese had his second MLS shutout and Orlando City played a man down for the final 20-plus minutes in a 0-0 tie with FC Dallas on Sunday night. Gallese had four saves, including a kick save of a shot by Santiago Mosquera from point-blank range in the 10th minute. Midfielder Jhegson Méndez was shown his second yellow card in the 69th minute and Orlando City played a man down the rest of the way. Jimmy Maurer had three saves for Dallas (5-3-5). Orlando City (7-2-5) is 5-0-3 in its last eight games.
Mueller, Orlando City beat Fire 4-1, extend unbeaten streak
ORLANDO, Fla. – Chris Mueller had a goal and an assist, Luís Carlos “Nani” Almeida da Cunha also scored, and Orlando City beat the Chicago Fire 4-1 on Saturday. Mueller cut back to evade a defender and scored on a left-footer that deflected off Chicago's Álvaro Medrán before trickling into the net top open the scoring in the 11th minute and Orlando City led the rest of the way. Orlando City (6-2-4) is unbeaten, with four wins, in its last six games. Mueller lofted an entry to Nani who headed home the finish from point-blank range to make it 2-0 in the 24th. Pedro Gallese had just two saves for Orlando City but had a diving left-handed stop of a penalty kick by the Fire’s Álvaro Medrán in the 36th minute.

ORLANDO, Fla. – Mauricio Pereyra scored in the 69th minute to lift Orlando City past Inter Miami, 2-1 on Saturday night. An own goal from Andres Reyes accounted for Orlando City's score in the 34th minute. Brek Shea scored for Inter Miami (2-7-2) on a header, getting the ball past the outstretched arm of diving Orlando goalkeeper Pedro Gallese in the 65th. Inter Miami’s penalty-kick goal and Orlando City’s Rodrigo Schlegel red card were both reversed in the 76th minute after an offside call. Orlando City’s Nani had a free kick hit the crossbar in the 11th minute.

Benji Michel scored in the final minute of the first-half stoppage time for Orlando City (4-2-4). Cubo Torres' wide-open header was wide. Orlando City goalie Pedro Gallese batted away Emerson Hyndman's shot from distance seconds later. Orlando City nearly added a second goal in the 79th minute, but Nanis laser free kick glanced off the post.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. Benji Michel scored his first goal of the season, Pedro Gallese had three saves and Orlando City tied Nashville SC 1-1 on Wednesday night. A better goal differential gave Orlando City took the top spot in the knockout round. Orlando City (2-1-2) will play a third-place finisher from group play in the round of 16 on Saturday. His third career goal against Orlando City came after a long stretch where Orlando dominated scoring chances. Blakes best save came just before Philadelphia took the lead when he tipped a header from Antnio Carlos off the crossbar.
