SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. - A man was killed in Seminole County on Sunday evening in a motorcycle accident at Snowhill Road and Snow Queen Drive, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The man was identified as 38-year-old John Burlinson of Osteen. Burlinson was traveling northbound on Snowhill Road above the posted speed limit when another vehicle struck him while trying to make a left turn, authorities said. Burlinson was ejected from his motorcycle and came to rest on the southbound lane of Snowhill Road, troopers said. Burlinson was struck by two other vehicles while in the roadway, according to troopers.
Osteen man charged with inappropriately touching child
Osteen man, who worked security at DeBary golf course, charged with inappropriate touching. Detectives ask if anyone has been a victim of inappropriate touching to contact them. A 34-year-old Osteen man hired by the DeBary Golf and Country Club Homeowner's Association as a nighttime security worker has been charged with with inappropriately touching a child under 16 years of age and detectives believe there may be additional victims, according to a statement from the Volusia County Sheriff's Office. The victim, who was known to Cobb, told her mother over the weekend that Cobb has been touching her inappropriately since November 2018. Anyone who may have been a victim of Cobb or any similar case is urged to call the Child Exploitation Unit at 386-323-3574.
