An injured male who was found in a vehicle after a shooting was reported in Zellwood has died as a result of his injuries, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

Health officials in Orange County are extending testing in the Apopka and Zellwood areas next week and will be giving a packet of free face masks and hand sanitizer to each person tested. ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A body was found on the side of the road in Zellwood in Orange County on Tuesday, according to the Sheriff’s Office. Deputies said they were called to Plymouth Sorrento and Haas Roads in Orange County for a man down call around 8:14 a.m.Deputies said they discovered the body of a man in the area and are now investigating the death as a homicide. Multiple sheriff’s office vehicles were seen blocking off the area as investigators canvassed the area. Investigators did not say how long the body was there. The name of the man has not been released at this time.
