Fatal crash closes US-27 in Clermont

CLERMONT, Fla. – A fatal crash early Friday prompted the closure of U.S. 27 in Clermont, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

The wreck happened around 4:50 a.m. on U.S. 27 south at U.S. 192.

The FHP said southbound U.S. 27 was closed in the area and drivers should seek alternate routes.
