ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A man was fatally shot at an Orange County hotel late Sunday. Just before midnight, deputies said they responded to the Days Inn on 33rd Street near the Mall at Millenia. They said a 35-year-old man was shot at the hotel. Deputies said a 23-year-old man is in custody. Accused getaway driver arrested in Mall at Millenia shooting

Records show Joshua Caleb Holder was arrested this week after he was identified as the getaway driver. ORLANDO, Fla. – A 19-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a shooting Thursday evening near the Mall at Millenia food court, police said. He added that because there were patrons in the food court at the time, it’s fortunate that no one was injured. Man, juvenile arrested after Orlando police review video of gun incident at Mall at Millenia
ORLANDO, Fla. A man has been arrested for his involvement in a June 7 brawl at the Mall at Millenia after he was found to be in possession of a gun, according to the Orlando Police department. A juvenile was also arrested for their involvement in the incident. Darrel Debrew, 21, was arrested on a charge of carrying a concealed firearm and was being held at the Orange County jail. On Wednesday, OPD released the incident report and said detectives had reviewed videos of the incident that sent shoppers running. At this point, the juvenile took a handgun out of a backpack Debrew was carrying.

Police said the person with the gun said while he was at the mall, a group of people started staring at him. The person told police he wasn’t going to shoot anyone but wanted to “scare them" saying it was 10 versus two people.

Orange County ended its curfew Monday morning, but the county task force's guidelines for businesses remain in place for restaurants and retail stores. Their reopening includes visual indicators for social distancing, a curbside package pickup area, sanitation stations throughout the mall. The mall updated its hours on Monday morning to continue from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m daily, and not all stores will reopen at first on Monday.
