Records show Joshua Caleb Holder was arrested this week after he was identified as the getaway driver. He added that because there were patrons in the food court at the time, it’s fortunate that no one was injured. Man, juvenile arrested after Orlando police review video of gun incident at Mall at Millenia
ORLANDO, Fla. A man has been arrested for his involvement in a June 7 brawl at the Mall at Millenia after he was found to be in possession of a gun, according to the Orlando Police department. A juvenile was also arrested for their involvement in the incident. Darrel Debrew, 21, was arrested on a charge of carrying a concealed firearm and was being held at the Orange County jail. On Wednesday, OPD released the incident report and said detectives had reviewed videos of the incident that sent shoppers running. At this point, the juvenile took a handgun out of a backpack Debrew was carrying.

Police said the person with the gun said while he was at the mall, a group of people started staring at him. The person told police he wasn’t going to shoot anyone but wanted to “scare them" saying it was 10 versus two people.

The agent confirmed the first available date to reserve tickets is July 1.Disney has not announced any plans for reopening its Central Florida theme parks, but Shanghai Disneyland reopened on Monday, May 11, and third-party stores within Disney Springs will begin to reopen with a series of added safety precautions starting on May 20.Orange County ended its nightly 11 p.m. curfews starting Monday, and Gov. Ron DeSantis began allowing hair salons, nail salons and barber shops to join the first phase of the state's reopening economy on Monday too. Their English Tea Garden is also listed as open for service daily at 3:30 and 5 p.m., with the Royal Tea Garden Tour scheduled for 9:30 each morning. The Gardens of the World are listed as open Tuesday and Friday mornings at 9. The mall has its own set of guidelines in addition to those required by Orange County and the state rules, according to the mall's website. Orange County ended its curfew Monday morning, but the county task force's guidelines for businesses remain in place for restaurants and retail stores. Their reopening includes visual indicators for social distancing, a curbside package pickup area, sanitation stations throughout the mall. The mall updated its hours on Monday morning to continue from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m daily, and not all stores will reopen at first on Monday.orlandoweekly.com
Mall at Millenia in Orlando hosts drive-thru coronavirus testing
ORLANDO, Fla. – AdventHealth opened a COVID-19 drive-up testing location Wednesday at the Mall at Millenia in Orlando. It is the second drive-thru testing location operated by AdventHealth after a site opened Friday at Daytona International Speedway. The Orlando site will be open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. According to the organization, it has now tested more than 11,500 people in its hospitals and Centra Care urgent care facilities.
