Office employee shoots man during machete attack, Orlando police say
ORLANDO, Fla. โ Orlando police officers were at a staffing business Tuesday after a man attacked two employees there with a machete. One of the employees took out a gun and shot the attacker, according to officers. Grant argued with a woman and a man who worked there, then went to stab the employees, investigators said. Officers said as Grant was trying to lunge at the employees, one of the workers shot him. Orlando police said they eventually found Grant with a gunshot wound and took him into custody.

1 injured in carjacking on Old Winter Garden Road
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. โ One person was hospitalized following a carjacking in Orange County Friday morning, according to police. Orlando police officials said they were called to assist Orange County deputies who were responding to the incident in the area of the 4500 block of Old Winter Garden Road just before 7 a.m.[TRENDING: Florida in Etaโs cone | The latest on the presidential race | Is there proof of voter fraud?] Investigators said the victim and one of the suspected carjackers met prior to the incident and ended up in that area of Old Winter Garden Road together before an accomplice to the first suspected carjacker showed up and approached the 1995 Red Honda Civic where they were. Some sort of physical fight took place before both of the suspected carjackers were able to get inside the car and flee, according to police. Authorities have not identified the suspected carjackers or released any additional details.
Driver killed wrong-way crash on State Road 408
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. A driver was killed in a wrong-way crash on State Road 408 on Monday night, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. FHP said the crash happened in the westbound lanes of State Road 408, just west of John Young Parkway. Investigators said a trooper was investigating a different crash on westbound State Road 408 near Old Winter Garden Road. The trooper saw a Nissan Maxima go past him eastbound in the westbound lanes, according to FHP. The names of the people involved in the crash have not been released at this time.
Multiple people injured in 3-vehicle rollover crash, Orange County officials say
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. Multiple people are being taken to Central Florida hospitals following a rollover crash in Orange County, according to fire rescue officials.
