Expect the wind to continue to increase Friday night through Saturday as the system responsible for the washout Friday moves into the Atlantic. Saturday will start off with scattered downpours, but the rain will gradually taper off through the morning.

There will be more storms around Sunday, but your plans will not be washed away if you are heading outside. The best chance for storms will again be west of I-95 as storms develop along the east coast sea breeze and move east-to-west. Even higher storm chances return Monday and for the week ahead. Massive winter storm expected to bring snow, ice to Mid-Atlantic, Northeast
Up to two feet of snow is possible in parts on the northeast. ORLANDO, Fla. โ The winter storm that extends from the Canadian border to the Gulf of Mexico is ramping up for parts of the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast. Future radarUp to two feet of snow is possible from Southeast Pennsylvania to New Jersey, New York and Massachusetts. A winter storm watch covers all of Massachusetts, Vermont and Maine with the potential for heavy snow arriving late Monday. This snow and ice is part of a system that will bring another blast of cold air to Central Florida Monday.
Higher storm chances return Sunday for Central Florida
ORLANDO, Fla. Downpours off the East Coast of Florida will sneak on shore Sunday morning and weaken as they move inland. As Sunday afternoon pushes on, storm chances increase to about 50%. As the sun goes down, the storm chances will also fade. A few scattered storms will be around Monday afternoon with the best chances along the coast. An area of low pressure may try to get its act together as it moves away from Florida and toward the Carolinas, but strong wind shear should prevent tropical development.
