Elsa strengthens into season's 1st hurricane in Caribbean
Heavy rains and winds lashed Barbados as the Category 1 storm headed for islands including St. Vincent and the Grenadines, which are still struggling to recover from recent volcanic eruptions. Elsa was located about 95 miles (155 kilometers) east of St. Vincent and was moving west-northwest at 28 mph (44 kph). It had maximum sustained winds of 75 mph (120 kph), according to the National Hurricane Center in Miami. A hurricane warning was in effect for Barbados, St. Lucia and St. Vincent and the Grenadines. “They will move anything within its path,” said St. Vincent Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves.

UBS upgrades Hasbro on strong sales of 'Frozen II' dolls into Black Friday
As Disney's "Frozen" stars Elsa and Anna hit the theaters is the hot release of "Frozen II", toy maker Hasbro is getting a boost during what could have been a tempered Black Friday, according to UBS. The firm upgraded shares of Hasbro to buy from neutral and kept its $117 price target, about a 20% for the toy maker that closed at $97.23 per share on Friday. "Our trade checks indicate positive pickup for Hasbro into November, driven by improvement in doll category (Frozen 2 opened in theatres on Nov 22) and action figures, and improving Nerf trends," said UBS analyst Arpine Kocharyan in a note to clients titled "Warming Up To Frozen."

Disney via CNN(CNN) - "Frozen 2" will feature some very interesting music choices. Demi Lovato had covered "Let It Go" on the end credits to the first "Frozen" movie. Other artists on the soundtrack include Kacey Musgraves singing "All is Found" and Weezer singing "Lost in the Woods." Additional songs include titles, "Some Things Never Change," "When I Am Older," and "Show Yourself." The sequel's soundtrack will be released on Nov. 15.
'Frozen 2' is highest-selling animated movie in first day of presales on Atom Tickets
In its first day of advanced ticket sales, "Frozen 2" has sold the most tickets of any other animated feature on Atom Tickets. Advanced tickets became available on Nov. 4, just a few weeks before the film's release on Nov. 22. Disney now holds the top three spots for the best first-day of ticket sales for animated movies with "Frozen 2," "Toy Story 4" and "Incredibles 2." Additionally, "Frozen 2" outpaced first-day ticket sales of every Disney live-action remake, including this summer's "The Lion King," "Aladdin" and 2017's "Beauty and the Beast." Headed into the holiday movie season, "Frozen" is trending as Atom Ticket's largest presale film, just behind "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker."

Halep will be ruing the match point she missed, too, a makeable forehand return as her foe served and volleyed. Townsend incredibly approached the net 105 times against one of the game's top counterpunchers, and even though her percentage of points won -- 60 -- wasn't overly high, the 23-year-old ultimately won the most important ones. Townsend was in tears after collecting her first top-10 win, having been so close at Wimbledon when she held a match point on Kiki Bertens. She trailed Nina Stojanovic in the final round of qualifying by a set and 5-1 in a second-set tiebreak.
'Frozen' to Epcot plans heating up
ORLANDO, Fla. – Disney's plans for "Frozen" at Epcot are heating up. Last fall, the classic Maelstrom ride in Norway closed to make way for a ride based on the movie "Frozen." The new permit shows Disney plans to go next door in a 13,000-square-foot building to help meet demand. Lines for the "Frozen" sisters routinely topped three hours at the Norway pavilion even before the movie was released in late 2013. The new Norway ride is expected to open late this year or in early 2016.
Disney adds 'Frozen' characters, fireworks
"Frozen Summer Live" -- a character-driven procession down the park's Hollywood Boulevard with Anna, Elsa and Kristoff -- will run through Sept. 1, each day at 11 a.m. There's also a new sing-along show, a dance party, "Frozen"-themed fireworks, a polar playground, ice skating rink and ice carving demonstrations. "Frozen" tells the story of how Anna and Elsa overcome Elsa's terrible power to turn everything into ice and snow. The park is offering a VIP package deal for Frozen fun at $59 for adults and $34 for kids on top of regular park admission. The deal includes reserved viewing for special events and a VIP dessert party before the fireworks.
