Volusia and Flagler school district officials had been preparing for the possibility, but were still finalizing how they would provide instruction to more than 75,000 collective students by Friday afternoon. Volusia County Schools sent a message to staff explaining that district teams have been developing instructional plans for at-home learning. Elementary students can pick up paper packets on March 25-27 from 7-10 a.m. and 3-6 p.m., depending on which school students attend. Middle and high school students can pick up paper packets at their schools on March 26 and 27.
