Accused getaway driver arrested in Mall at Millenia shooting
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A third arrest has been made in connection with a shooting just outside Mall at Millenia that sent shoppers running, according to the Orlando Police Department. Records show Joshua Caleb Holder was arrested this week after he was identified as the getaway driver. Holder is now facing charges of attempted first-degree murder with a firearm and driving a vehicle from which shots were fired. Teen arrested on attempted murder charge in Mall at Millenia shooting
ORLANDO, Fla. – A 19-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a shooting Thursday evening near the Mall at Millenia food court, police said. He added that because there were patrons in the food court at the time, it’s fortunate that no one was injured. Officers initially said the shooting happened inside the food court but later clarified that it happened outside the mall near the food court entrance. A mall spokeswoman said Mall at Millenia is working with Orlando police on the investigation, and the mall will be open as usual on Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Woman shot, killed outside Navy Federal Credit Union in Orlando
ORLANDO, Fla. A woman was shot and killed Tuesday morning outside an Orlando credit union, and a search is underway for the suspected shooter, police said. The fatal shooting was reported at the Navy Federal Credit Union on Garden Parks Boulevard, west of John Young Parkway and north of the Mall at Millenia. Orlando police said the woman, who worked at the credit union, was shot by a man whom she knows. Man, juvenile arrested after Orlando police review video of gun incident at Mall at Millenia
ORLANDO, Fla. A man has been arrested for his involvement in a June 7 brawl at the Mall at Millenia after he was found to be in possession of a gun, according to the Orlando Police department. A juvenile was also arrested for their involvement in the incident. Darrel Debrew, 21, was arrested on a charge of carrying a concealed firearm and was being held at the Orange County jail. On Wednesday, OPD released the incident report and said detectives had reviewed videos of the incident that sent shoppers running. At this point, the juvenile took a handgun out of a backpack Debrew was carrying.
Man arrested at Mall at Millenia after loud noises, fight causes panic, police say
ORLANDO, Fla. – Orlando police say they arrested one person Sunday after a fight at the Mall at Millenia caused shoppers to panic and one person was injured. A spokesperson for the Orlando Police Department said officers responded to the mall near the Macy’s store around 3:16 p.m. When officers arrived shoppers were fleeing out of the department store and told police they heard shots fired in Macy’s. Police said they found one victim who said he was battered by several males in a fight but he was not shot. There is NO threat to the public.”Officers later determined no shots were ever fired during the incident, according to OPD.

Holy Land Experience closes its gates to reduce spread of COVID-19
ORLANDO, Fla. – Holy Land officials announced Saturday that the religious experience would temporarily close to reduce the spread of the coronavirus. The park’s doors will close at the end of the day Saturday and stay closed through the remainder of the month. “During the closure, The Holy Land Experience team members will receive their full pay,” Mike Everett said. The religious experience at Vineland and Conroy Roads near The Mall at Millenia draws hundreds of people every year for the park’s annual free admission day, allowing the organization to keep its tax-exempt status.
