1 arrested in disturbance that closed Vineland Road in Orlando
ORLANDO, Fla. โ A man was arrested on several charges in a disturbance that prompted Orlando police to close Vineland Road. Orlando police tweeted that Vineland Road was closed south from Conroy Road and north from Radebaugh Way. The road was later reopened. Shortly after 10 a.m. crisis negotiators talked the suspect, identified as 28-year-old Malcolm Moore, out of the apartment and arrested him. One person is dead after a train hit a car in Kissimmee on Thursday night. KISSIMMEE, Fla. โ One person is dead after a train hit a car in Kissimmee on Thursday night. Police said a call to dispatchers reported the incident happened around 6:15 p.m. as the car was heading westbound. Investigators said the crash happened in the area of East Vine Street. The name of the victim has not been released at this time.
Brevard woman killed when car strikes tree near Christmas
CHRISTMAS, Fla. โ A 39-year-old Titusville woman was killed early Thursday when her car struck a tree in Orange County, the Florida Highway Patrol said. The fatal wreck was reported at 4 a.m. on Colonial Drive east of St. Nicholas Avenue near Christmas. The FHP said the woman was driving east on Colonial Drive when her car left the road for an unknown reason and hit a tree. Eastbound Colonial Drive was partially blocked in the area, but the roadway has since been cleared. The incident unfolded at 12:23 p.m. Tuesday at the apartment complex on Pinewood Drive, just off of Palm Bay Road. The suspect whom police have not named, was described as acting erratically by residents and taken into custody about 1:30 p.m.
1 person killed in Lake County crash on U.S. 27, troopers say
Florida Highway Patrol troopers say one person was killed Friday in a multiple-vehicle crash in Lake County. Troopers responded to the crash at 9:45 a.m. on U.S. 27 and Frank Jarrell Road involving two vehicles and a tow truck. One person was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. U.S. 27 was blocked until about 3:30 p.m.No other details were immediately available. This story will be updated as soon as more information is confirmed.

Orange County Fire Rescue responded to a fire at Correct Craft on Dec. 17, 2020. ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. โ Orange County Fire Rescue responded to a building fire Thursday at a boating company where one person was injured, according to officials. OCFR officials said the fire was contained to Correct Craft, Inc.One person was transported to AdventHealth East campus for treatment, fire rescue officials said. Correct Craft is a recreational boat company, according to its website. The company also specializes in marine propulsion and watersports parks, according to the site.
19-year-old Orlando woman killed in rear-end crash on Florida Turnpike
A 19-year-old Orlando woman was killed Tuesday night when her car was rear-ended from behind on the Florida Turnpike in Orange County, troopers said. The fatal crash was reported in the southbound lanes of the turnpike near John Young Parkway. The FHP said the woman was driving a Scion xB when a Chevrolet Tahoe, driven by a 41-year-old St. Cloud man, failed to slow for an unknown reason and struck the back of her car, which then crashed into a barrier wall. Cloud man was not injured.
3 dead, 2 injured in head-on crash in Osceola County
A woman and two men were killed and two others were injured Monday morning in a head-on crash in Osceola County, the Florida Highway Patrol said. The triple fatal wreck was reported at 5:25 a.m. on Kenansville Road, south of State Road 60. According to the FHP, a 21-year-old Royal Palm Beach woman was driving an SUV south on Kenansville Road and traveled into the northbound lanes. The woman driving the SUV, who was not wearing a seat belt, also died in the crash, the FHP. Two other passengers in the pickup, a 26-year-old man and a 40-year-old man, suffered serious injuries and were taken to a hospital, the FHP said.
Double shooting leaves 1 dead at Orlando apartments
ORLANDO, Fla. โ One person was killed and another was injured early Wednesday in a shooting in Orlando, police said. The fatal double shooting was reported just after 2 a.m. at the Oakmont Apartments at 3014 S. Rio Grande Avenue. One victim, identified by authorities only as a male, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. Orlando police said there is no threat to the community and it appears officers have accounted for everyone involved in the shooting. NFL fan at season opener tests positive for coronavirus
KANSAS CITY, Mo. โ Ten fans who attended the Kansas City Chiefs game last week have been told to quarantine after one fan tested positive for COVID-19, Kansas City health officials announced Thursday. A person who watched the game from the group's box in Arrowhead Stadium's lower level tested positive the day after the game, the health department said. The health department and Chiefs organization worked together to track down those who had contact with the person. The Chiefs opened the NFL season last week against the Houston Texans with only 22% capacity โ about 17,000 fans โ at Arrowhead.

One person died following a shooting in Orange County on Saturday, according to the Orange County Sheriffโs Office. The person died at the scene of a gunshot wound following a shooting at 704 20th Street, deputies say. The investigation is ongoing.

For the temperature check, I stood in front of a camera, and it took my temperature that way. On the other field, videographers stood behind a tall fence and the photographers sat in front of that fence. MLS is now set to move on with regular season games and the MLS Playoffs later this year.
