MegaCon Orlando rescheduled for August
ORLANDO, Fla. – Comic book and movie fans will have to adjust some plans as MegaCon Orlando recently announced it’s pushing its event back a few months. Initially scheduled for March 2021, event organizers announced Wednesday MegaCon will now take place in August. However, your friendly neighborhood MEGACON Orlando squad also secured back-up dates, just in case. For hotel reservations, MegaCon says ticketholders who have reserved rooms with one of their partnering hotels should contact them regarding personal plans. MegaCon Orlando moves to June due to coronavirus
ORLANDO, Fla. – MegaCon Orlando is moving its dates to early June due the coronavirus pandemic. The event, which had been scheduled for April 16-19, will now be held June 4-7 at the Orange County Convention Center. According to MegaCon’s website, all purchased tickets have been automatically transferred to the new dates. If you’ve already printed your e-ticket, please print your updated e-ticket,” a message on the site said. “If you’re unable to attend on the new dates, don’t worry.
’Arrow’ cast members coming to MegaCon Orlando
MegaCon Orlando added three stars from the hit CW show and DC comics “Arrow” to the fan event this April. Fans will have the opportunity to meet Stephen Amell, on Saturday only, Katherine McNamara, on Saturday and Sunday, and Ben Lewis, on all three days of MegaCon. According to entertainment website IMDB, the show is based around the story of spoiled billionaire playboy Oliver Queen. He returns to Star City to fight crime, a hooded vigilante, after five years of being presumed dead and lost at sea. The three actors join a long list of celebrities already announced for this year’s event, which will also include panels, workshops and shops for fans to enjoy.
Double dose of ‘Aladdin’ at 2020 MegaCon
ORLANDO, Fla – MegaCon is about to take fans to a whole new world. Scott Weinger will now join Mena Massoud to sign autographs and meet with fans of the Disney films. The addition of Weinger comes nearly a month after MegaCon officials said Massoud would be attending. Weinger was set to appear at MegaCon last year with Linda Larkin, who voiced Jasmine, but both had to cancel due to scheduling conflicts. Massoud took on the lead role in Disney’s 2019 live-action “Aladdin,” and is also known for playing Tarek Kassar in Amazon’s “Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan."

ORLANDO, Fla – Six stars from the new film adaptation of Stephen King’s “IT” are set to come to MegaCon this year. Officials said Thursday that stars Sophia Lillis, Jack Dylan Grazer, Jaeden Martell, Wyatt Oleff, Chosen Jacobs and Jackson Robert Scott will be available to meet fans. All the actors headlined roles in the 2017 horror film “IT” and the 2019 sequel “IT: Chapter Two.”Organizers said the group will be at MegaCon from April 17-19 to sign autographs and offer photo opportunities. The group joins a long list of celebrities already announced for this year’s event, which will also include panels, workshops and shops for fans to enjoy. ORLANDO, Fla – MegaCon officials said Wednesday that actor and former professional wrestler Dave Bautista will be making a stop at the fan event this April. Bautista has become famous due to his most recent roles playing Drax in the Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy” and “Avengers: Endgame.”Audiences will see him on the silver screen in March playing the character JJ in the film “My Spy”. Bautista will be at MegaCon on April 18 to sign autographs and offer photo opportunities. ‘Super Mario,' ‘Halo’ voice actors attending MegaCon Orlando
ORLANDO, Fla – Officials with MegaCon announced a lineup of video game voice actors Monday set to appear at the upcoming convention. Steve Downes is an American voice actor best known for his roles in the popular gaming series “Halo." Charles Martinet is an American actor and voice actor best known for voicing Mario in the “Super Mario” video game series. Paul Nakauchi is American actor and voice actor best known for his roles in “Overwatch.” He has also starred in the TV Series “Carmen Sandiego.”Feodor Chin is an actor and writer originally from San Francisco, CA. Troy Baker is best known for his work in “The Last of Us.” He also helped voice characters in BioShock Infinte and Batman: Arkham Knight.

Attention Dunder Mifflin: 'Office’ cast members set to visit MegaCon Orlando
ORLANDO, Fla – Fans of the hit series “The Office” are getting a real treat at this year’s MegaCon event. Five members of the show will be making stops at the convention to attend panels, sign autographs and pose for photos, Leaders announced Tuesday. Fans will get to meet stars Oscar Nuñez (known as Oscar in the show), Creed Bratton (Creed), Kate Flannery (Meredith), Leslie Baker (Stanley) and Catherine Tate (Nellie Bertram). Brian Baumgartner, who plays the character Kevin, has cancelled his appearance. “The Office” first aired on NBC back in 2005 and had 9 seasons before it concluded in 2013.
