Missing Florida toddler who wandered away from home found dead in lake
TAMPA, Fla. – A 2-year-old Florida girl who wandered away from home Friday afternoon was found dead in a nearby lake hours later, according to the Tampa Police Department. The search for Lori Thermidor began around 3:40 p.m. when she left her home in the area of Redwood Point Drive and Stallion Fields Way wearing a pink polka dot pajama onesie. Police said the girl’s father realized his daughter was missing within minutes and went out to search for her but couldn’t find her, so he called police. She was initially believed to have wandered into a wooded area. Officers, dozens of volunteers and neighbors, two bloodhounds and air service searched for hours but it was divers who found the girl dead in a nearby lake before 8:30 p.m. Friday.
Lake County deputies search for missing 15-year-old girl
LAKE COUNTY, Fla. – Authorities are searching for a 15-year-old girl last seen in Lake County, according to the Sheriff’s Office. Lake County deputies said Lizdianelly Santiago was last seen around 5:30 p.m. Saturday near U.S. Highway 27 and Markham Drive in Clermont. According to the release, Santiago has brown hair, brown eyes and braces. It’s unclear what clothing she was last seen wearing, according to deputies. Anyone with information on Santiago’s whereabouts is asked to call the Lake County Sheriff’s Office at 352-343-2101.
Seminole County deputies locate missing 10-year-old girl
SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. – The Seminole County Sheriff’s Office returned a missing 10-year-old girl to her family Sunday afternoon. Deputies said the Natayla Sanchez was located in good health and was being returned to her family.
