Man shows up at ER after being shot in Orange County

High traffic volume is expected on SR 528, US-1 and State Road A1A, before and after the launch. Drivers can use State Road 520 towards SR 50 for the north end or Nova Road towards the south end. State Road 528 was where most of the slowdowns were seen, after the first crewed launch in May was scrubbed.
One person killed in S.R. 417 rollover crash
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Florida Highway Patrol troopers are working to figure out what led up to a fatal crash in Orange County on State Road 417. The crash happened Monday evening along SR 417 near the exit to State Road 528. Troopers tell News 6 the driver of a Jeep lost control and hit a guardrail, causing the vehicle to overturn. Investigators say one person died at the scene. Another person was also in the vehicle and pulled from the wreckage, but troopers have not said how badly they were hurt.
Man dies after accident working on Virgin Trains project in Orlando
ORLANDO, Fla. Authorities say one worker died while working on the Virgin Trains project in Orlando near State Road 528, reports The Associated Press. The accident happened Thursday morning as 33-year-old Marcus Green and another man were working to clear standing water that had accumulated over an inlet due to recent heavy rain. A spokesperson for the Orlando Fire Department said the workers were in an overflow drain that began to flow sweeping them away and trapping them under the road. Orlando Fire Department crews rescued them but Green died from his injuries. The other worker was taken to a hospital, where he was treated and released.
