ORLANDO, Fla. – An investigation is underway after an apparent shooting Saturday evening, according to the Orlando Police Department. Officers went to the 5100 block of Elese Street at about 7:33 p.m. in reference to a shooting. Police said the officer located a scene, but no victims were found. At about 7:45 p.m., police said a vehicle arrived at Orlando Regional Medical Center that was occupied by two possible victims from the incident on Elese Street. Orlando police said officers responded to the crash at Orange Center Boulevard and South Ohio Avenue and realized the driver had been shot. ORLANDO, Fla. A 16-year-old was shot Monday afternoon near Willie Mays Park in Orlando, police said. Orlando police said the shooting happened at 4400 Prince Hall Boulevard, but authorities said the victim walked to another location. The teen was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where he underwent surgery, police said. According to police, stray bullets hit some nearby houses, but no on else was injured. Police said its not known who shot the teen.

The man told deputies he was walking along the 2200 block of Le Harve Boulevard when someone shot him. Troopers said the crash happened at about 9:05 a.m. on West Colonial Drive near Mission Road. A 64-year-old man driving a van turned right from a parking lot onto Colonial Drive and entered the middle travel lane, which is where the Harley-Davidson motorcycle was, according to the report. Records show the motorcycle hit the back of the van. The 30-year-old motorcyclist was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where he died.

ORLANDO, Fla. – Three officers who fatally shot an unarmed patient who claimed to have a gun at Orlando Regional Medical Center last year have been cleared of wrongdoing, according to documents from the State Attorney’s Office. Orlando police officers Paul Evancoe, Elio Florin and Daniel Robertson arrived and positioned themselves behind hostage negotiator Gladys Justiniano. Baker was agitated when he jumped on a piece of medical equipment, pulled his hand from his shirt and pointed an object toward Justiniano, Florin and Robertson, records show. Records didn’t indicate what type of object Baker had in his hand. Orlando police officials said after the shooting that Baker was not armed.

CLERMONT, Fla. – Clearmont police is searching for a driver involved in a Monday hit-and-run crash. Officers say the driver struck the pedestrian at approximately 11:30 p.m. by West S.R. The pedestrian was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center with possible life-threatening injuries, according to a Clermont Police Department release. He said he was on the receiving line at ORMC that morning -- a morning he said was unusually slow until the shooting at Pulse Nightclub. One year after the attack at Pulse, ORMC staffers said they're looking forward, but will not forget what their team experienced. "Every time they come to the office, their smile is a little bigger," said Dr. Chadwick Smith, ORMC trauma surgeon. She said it's a testament to the critical, life-saving work the staff performs everyday at ORMC.
